Man of Steel was a very good movie although it did have it's ups and downs it was still an awesome movie to watch. Superman's costume was great and fantastically designed and surpass the originals along with all of the other villain costumes in the movie being decent to. The special effects were great, way more realistic and improved since that movie everybody hated Superman Returns. The movie had actors that not only pull off the look of the characters they were playing but had charming personalities to them such as Lois Lane, a character they totally revamped better than before in this movie. Lois in the movie was smart, strong, independent and we even got to see her kick some ass while being able to take care of herself only having to be save like once because she was being caught in a worm hole, her comic book and cartoon counterparts on the other hand were dumb despite being expert reporters, get in way over their head then having to be saved by Superman all the time and to be honest they were kind of a bitches who we all wanted to see get lost. Some people seem to hate General Zod for being calm one second and angry the next making it hard to understand him but it's showing how he has characteristics of brutality, violence and is calm minded thinker plus come on there are worser villains out there we still can't understand like Bane. the other thing people seem to bitch about is that it was too dark and wasn't at all hopeful, well I agree with all of you but this is just the first movie where our hero is still learning, they're going to eventually make him a better hero. When Superman killed Zod well that was his first time dealing with a world class threat so he didn't know what to do but he'll eventually going to learn from his mistakes, strive to preserve life and defeat world class threats without killing. With the origin story I don't have a problem with it being told in flashbacks because it makes the movie somewhat shorter and less complicated although it'll still be complicated as most origin movies are. Most of the destruction of the the city was cause by Zod but people seem to think it's Superman for some reason. There are only three problems I saw in the movie, first is the fact that Clark's human farther was kind of dick in the films for example during Clark's childhood his human farther inspired him to become a hero then when he grows up told him that he's not a hero and that he should stay on the farms. Second is why Lois was sent on their ship in the first place. third is the end credits seen where Superman crashes military property down to earth then talk to government officials, discuss how hot he is and then flies off. In the end even though it did have it's mistakes, it was still a very spectacular movie to watch.
