While Marvel has gotten a lot of hate for it's lack of diversity, and it's whitewashing of roles for actors of color. (Mandarin, The Ancient One, Dr. Strange) DC movies aren't exempt either.
In Batman Comics, Bane is Hispanic, Ra's Al Ghul and Talia are Middle Eastern. In Nolans Dark Knight Trilogy? They're all played by White People. Despite other qualities the films have, it always struck me as a huge letdown to deny such juicy roles that could have gone to Hispanic or Middle Eastern actors.

Tao Okamoto is playing Mercy Graves, Laurence Fishburne is playing Perry White, Will Smith is playing Deadshot. . . they're casting Killer Croc with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in Suicide, they're featuring Karen Fukuhara as Katana (assuming shes not cannon fodder in the film). DC is actually diversifying their cast up a lot more than Marvel is.
It's actually quite admirable when you think about it, especially given the controversy surrounding the casting of some other characters in pop culture (B.
Whats your opinion on this? Should DC diversify its cast more? What characters would you like to see played by a non-white actor? Comment below.
