OK I can't just sit by and let this be. As stated above this DCEU Wiki situation (now called Worlds of DC) is almost as much of a mess as the actual movies. Allow me to explain:
* There are multiple wiki's covering the same content. dcextendeduniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Board:General_Discussion This will no doubt lead to another mess, rivaling information resulting in one of them being false, one possibly drying up the other, and many more complications.
* No moderating situation, or at least a far too lenient one.
Here are some ways to fix it:
+ Get moderators ( or at least better ones) for discussions. Maybe via an election, maybe via whoever is actually in charge right now can chose someone. I do not nominate myself, but if I must I must.
+ Turn this forum back into a singular discussion board. I know this format keeps the nonsense post to a limited in a way, but it still doesn't fix the problem. If a post is considered too nonsensical, lock it and delete it. Yes, it's very assertive but it's the best way to keep the confusion to a minimum. Along with a possible age restriction to keep those to young from creating post that's not quite up to an appropriate level.
+ Get a guidelines set. 5 to 10 rules that everyone must follow. It will limit a great deal of discussion problems. If these rules are broken, lock and delete the post.
+ The spell check software. Me and many other users will not spell correctly 100% of the time. As I said there are tons of free options that can fix this.
I'll admit that this was originally meant for the other wiki mentioned above ( I posted it there too), but this one still needs a few fixes.
As a DC fan in many aspects I want this wiki to succeed. I know that hundreds of thousands of fans come here to search the characters and will no doubt be confused by this complication. I want to fix this, I want to help all of them. Fixing this will lead to a more thriving and active wiki. And yes, I'm aware that I may be coming off as a 'strict hardass' who wants to eliminate fun to some of you, but believe me I'm not. By no means do I want this to become the Star Wars wiki (a dictatorship of far too severe rules with a far too tight discussion board). I will gladly help if I can, just tell me what and how to do it. And if no one is willing to help me, I'll be forced to go over your head.
