History
At some point, Yalan Gur joined the Green Lantern Corps, acquiring a Green Lantern ring and becoming the protector of Space sector 2814
Apokoliptian Invasion
During the Invasion of Earth, led by Steppenwolf and his Apokoliptian forces, the Lantern helped the combined forces of Humans, Amazons, Atlanteans and Old Gods repel the alien invaders. Yalan Gur used his ring to fend off Parademons, and attempted to attack Steppenwolf, only to be killed by the New God. After his death, the Green Lantern ring flew off his finger, searching for a new bearer.
