Biography[edit | edit source]

Approached by an Alien[edit | edit source]

After a menacing extraterrestrial message was transmitted across the globe from General Zod looking for Kal-El, Father Leone was listening to a news report on the incident when Kal-El himself suddenly turned up in his church, looking for guidance in his ambivalent situation. Father Leone tells Kal that "Sometimes [you] just have to take a leap of faith. The trust part comes later."

As a result, Kal-El opted to trust humanity, and ultimately surrendered himself to them willingly. This trust ultimately paid off in the end, since after the Battle of Smallville, the US Army could tell that he was in fact an ally, and nicknamed the alien hero "Superman", due to his incredible powers and the S-shaped logo on his Kryptonian suit.

Funeral of an Alien[edit | edit source]

After The Death of Superman at the hands of Doomsday, Father Leone was asked to hold the funeral ceremony at Smallville Cemetery where Clark was buried beside his father Jonathan Kent.
