"Now you belong to my army."
Enchantress[src]

The Eyes of the Adversary[1] were a monstrous race of humanoid beings that served the Enchantress.[2]

History[]

Battle of Midway City[]

They were normal people from Midway City who were somehow transformed into bizarre-looking monsters by the Enchantress. Amidst those turned were soldiers, civilians, children, and criminals. They were violent minions completely separated from their human selves and did Enchantress' bidding, such as completely overrunning Midway City and capturing others to be transformed.

The Eyes of the Adversary almost immediately fought the Task Force X team after their escort chopper went down. They were quickly dispatched. The Squad continued to run into more of them as they progressed in their mission, but they, too, were killed. When Enchantress was finally defeated, the Eyes of the Adversary were no more.[2]

Characteristics[]

"She takes an average person, a yoga mom, an elderly retiree, and she turns them into a soldier who can take a headshot and still fight. It's an instant army."
Amanda Waller to Rick Flag[src]

The Eyes of the Adversary are very strong (at least on par with Batman), to the point where they can make great leaps, scale walls and even quickly overpower and defeat the US military in battle with relative ease. However, they are notably not as strong as Enchantress or Killer Croc. They also have a degree of superhuman durability (at least on par with Batman), to the point where Amanda Waller says that they "can take a headshot and still fight", through multiple gun wounds will bring them down, as demonstrated in their battle with the Task Force X.[2]

Equipment[]

During their time serving as Enchantress' army, the Eyes of the Adversary acquired weapons to fight the military, including assault rifles, knives, sledgehammers, and axes.[2]
