Joss Whedon is an American writer, producer, and director. He is known for his TV work with Firefly and Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and his films The Avengers, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. He oversaw the remaining post-production of Justice League in favor of Zack Snyder who had to step down from continuing post-production due to a family tragedy, Whedon also signed on to do a solo Batgirl in the DC Extended Universe. However he dropped out of Batgirl due to not being able to crack the story.
