− | A Plasma Carbine is the standard armament of the [[Warrior Caste]] on [[Krypton]]. A large majority of these rifles have been passed down the caste for generations, and like most [[Kryptonian]] technology are built to last. The weapon fires a burst of white-hot plasma which burns through armor and flesh with ease. The weapon saw much action during the short lived [[Kryptonian Civil War]], where [[General Zod]], and his forces, in a coup attempt, used these weapons to kill significant members of the [[Council of Five]] and engage those loyal to the council. They would be used again after Krypton imploded when Zod scoured the galaxy for the old Kryptonian outposts and when he enacted his plans for [[Earth]]. |
